For yesterday is but a dream, And tomorrow is but a vision. But today well lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness, And every tomorrow a vision of hope.

Inspirational Poem About Life 3. It doesn't interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for, And if you dare to dream of meeting Your heart's longing.
1. Quite possibly one of the best poems about life and success.
It doesn't interest me how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool For love, for your dream, For the adventure of being alive. It doesn't interest me what planets are squaring your moon. I want to know if you have touched the center of your own sorrow, If you have been opened by life's betrayals, Or have become shriveled and closed from fear of further pain. I want to know if you can sit with pain, Mine or your own, Without moving To hide it or fade it or fix it.
I want to know if you can be with joy, Mine or your own, If you can dance with wildness and let the ecstasy fill you to the tips of your fingers and toes Without cautioning us to be careful, be realistic, or to remember the limitations of being human. It doesn't interest me if the story you are telling me is true. I want to know if you can disappoint another to be true to yourself, If you can bear the accusation of betrayal and not betray your own soul.
I want to know if you can be faithless and therefore be trustworthy. I want to know if you can see beauty Even when it is not pretty every day, And if you can source your life From its presence.
I want to know if you can live with failure, Yours and mine, And still stand on the edge of a lake and shout to the silver of the full moon, "Yes! It doesn't interest me to know where you live or how much money you have. I want to know if you can get up after the night of grief and despair, Weary and bruised to the bone, And do what needs to be done for the children. It doesn't interest me who you are, how you came to be here. I want to know if you will stand In the center of the fire with me And not shrink back. It doesn't interest me where or what or with whom you have studied.
I want to know what sustains you From the inside When all else falls away. I want to know if you can be alone With yourself, And if you truly like the company you keep In the empty moments. Inspirational Poem About Life 5. Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness That most frightens us. We ask ourselves Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small Does not serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking So that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, As children do. We were born to make manifest The glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; It's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we're liberated from our own fear, Our presence automatically liberates others. Though often quoted as part of Nelson Mandela's moving inaugural speech , "Our Deepest Fear" does not appear in the speech. Marianne Williamson herself has commented on this mistaken attribution. Compassion By WingMakers.
Deep Love Sayings
Angels must be confused by war. Both sides praying for protection, yet someone always gets hurt. Someone dies. Someone cries so deep they lose their watery state.
Inspirational Good Morning Poems For Her
Who can they help? Who can they clarify? Whose mercy do they cast to the merciless? No modest scream can be heard. No stainless pain can be felt. All is clear to angels except in war. When I awoke to this truth, it was from a dream I had last night. I saw two angels conversing in a field of children's spirits rising like silver smoke.
The angels were fighting among themselves about which side was right, and which was wrong. Who started the conflict? Suddenly, the angels stilled themselves like a stalled pendulum, and they shed their compassion to the rising smoke of souls who bore the watermark of war. To laugh often and much; To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.
This is to have succeeded. And then I realized that to be more alive I had to be less afraid so I did it… I lost my fear and gained my whole life. Go into this week with the attitude that your peace, your health of mind, and your heart mean more than getting everything else done.
That your smile matters, That feeling rested matters. That holding the hand of your loved ones matter. Honour the things that make you feel good inside, the things that make you feel alive. Give time to those things this week. Make time the gift it is, by giving it to what really matters to you. Lourie of Butterflies and Pebbles.
Fear is loud and bossy. She can be vicious at times. And the worst of it is that she often mingles truth with fiction. But you must learn to challenge the stories she feeds you. You get to be the boss of your thoughts.

You can learn to question whether or not everything she tells you is truth, whole truth, and nothing but the truth. An amazing thing happens when you get honest with yourself and start doing what you love, what makes you happy. You stop wishing for the weekend. You stop merely looking forward to special events.
About This Item
You begin to live in each moment and you start feeling like a human being. You just ride the wave that is life, with this feeling of contentment and joy. You move fluidly, steadily, calm and grateful. A veil is lifted, and a whole new perspective is born.
I am not for everyone. I know my truth, I know who I am, I know what I do and do not bring to the table. Do not ask your children to strive for extraordinary lives. Such striving may seem admirable, but it is the way of foolishness. Help them instead to find the wonder and the marvel of an ordinary life.
